To make sure your best assets shine, there are a few basic guidelines to follow. Based on two distinct poses, a forward lean and a backward lean, any model with any breast size can maximize cleavage. When leaning forward, either bring your arms together at your waist, keep your arms straight at the elbows and clasp your hands together below your waist, or simply cross your arms. When leaning backward, raise your arms about your shoulders and head, keep your arms apart, and always slouch for the best cleavage results.

Don't ever do anything that you might be sorry for later. What you do today can affect your career later down the road. "If you pose for a photo that you cannot show your family and friends, and be proud of it, it wasn't worth doing". Mainly YOU should be proud of it.

There is a lot of criteria that goes into being a good runway model including a good figure, look, attitude, and walk. These are essential to make the items being modeled look good.

Be confident, and let that confidence shine through with every smile, move and pose that you make. You may be the most beautiful or most perfect person physically for the job, but without confidence, all that beauty will go for naught.

The Foundation Now, you'll want to use a good, solid foundation and apply it evenly over the face. Foundation application is very simple but is misunderstood by even some professional makeup artists. Match the foundation to your chin and neckline. If you miss this step, you and the camera will see a sudden change of color from your face to the neck or upper chest. Some makeup artists even apply makeup to the neck and shoulders! Why you ask? To match the body to the face. You will have no need to apply makeup to your body (except to hide blemishes) if you follow the suggestion of matching your makeup from the face to the neck. Keep in mind that modeling is a business, not a personal venture. You need to be prepared to negotiate with prospective employers, regarding everything from pay to content. Don't just drop out of contact because you don't like what's offered - either negotiate or say, "Thanks, but no thanks." You never know, the employer you turn down could well have your dream job later - and if you treat him or her rudely or with disrespect, you'll likely miss out.

Always try to be rested before a shoot, especially if alot of travel is involved. The best shoots are ones where you feel rested and fresh.

Read as many books as you can about the business. The more you read the better you will be. Education is very important in the modeling business.
