You must take yourself seriously. We can invite you to a networking party, but you have to make the connections. If you come to the party and never open your mouth then you will not get noticed. It takes more than looks to be great in this industry. Learn the art of causing people to want to know more about you. No matter how many websites you join, parties you go to, or conferences you attend, you have to do something other than hope to be discovered. Contact people and tell them who you are and what you hope to do. Let them see your passion. Trust me, passion shows if you have it.

This board is a great way to keep in countact with other people in the business of modeling. Talk about things that matter to you get other's thoughts about it. It won't work for you if you don't use it.

Celebrate the freedom that you have.
